Facebook Red Table Talks
About the project
Facebook Watch gives people a place to find the shows and video creators they love, and start conversations with friends, other fans and even creators themselves. Recently, the experience has become more social, with the creation of shows that have audience participation at their core.
Red Table Talk, on Facebook Watch, features Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris – three generations of women, opening their home for a series of candid conversations with family and friends.
To celebrate the launch of Red Table Talk season two, Manifold designed and produced two unique launch events, in Atlanta and New York City, where media, influencers and RTT superfans could interact with the stars and experience aspects of the show for themselves.

Once guests arrived and checked-in they were able to experience a photo opportunity designed to place them directly into the Red Table Talk logo, mimicking the show branding.
In the main activation space, lounge seating provided a comfortable environment for media to meet and greet before scheduled interviews, enjoy happy hour food and drink and view the Red Table Talk season two trailer premier.
Six red tables (replicas to those seen in the show) and a main Red Table Top set atop a stage and scenic backdrop, allowed attendees the special opportunity to have talks of their own with Jada and Adrienne. Each table was moderated by an influencer with a different topic ranging from motherhood and parenting, to body confessions, to marriage and relationships.
The essence and philosophy of RTT truly came through as attendees sat around a real life table discussing deeply personal topics, creating mutual understanding and sharing different points of view. For many, the experience was cathartic, with laughter, tears and a lot of hugging. And, even though the room was filled with mostly strangers, the RTT set felt warm and comfortable for facilitating deep conversations and openness.
Guests also had the opportunity to pose in front of the “Here’s to the Journey” hedge wall, where they could choose, and display a word that best describes how they focus their future paths – grace, reflection, change, liberation, family, vulnerability, transformation, passion or transparency.
Throughout the day, season 2 launch press interviews with USA Today, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Associated Press and more, were scheduled with Jada and Adrienne in front of the hedge wall, red circle photo opp and main RedTable Talk Facebook Watch set.
